My name is Joanna Radoła, I’m a PhD candidate working on code-switching (CS) in language models - examining LLMs’ code-switching abilities, CS detection and language identification, improving how CS is handled in Machine Translation and in pre-training corpora collection pipelines… My research is supervised by François Yvon at ISIR, an institute affiliated with Sorbonne University, and by Josep Maria Crego at SYSTRAN.
